This podcast concept harkens back to 2007 when she worked at Hollywood Video (R.I.P.). I absorbed all films at my disposal. Now, it’s time to break down the importance, if any, that full-frontal male nudity holds cinematically and anthropologically.

    Experienced filmmaker, and talker on a podcast about film. He’s an all ‘round bantersaurus and a fervent film consumer. A self-confessed cinephile, independent writer, director, and owner of the production label Gamut Flicks. He primarily focuses on creating music videos and short films and even wrote for the BBC.

 

ABOUT THE SHOW

On the BiTTE is a bi-monthly, hour-ish long podcast that delivers an alternative take on film reviews, uncovering everything from arthouse to mainstream cinema (without taking ourselves too seriously). We debut and review a new film every episode. This is, essentially, a comedy podcast about films, while dissecting and sharing what knowledge, if any, we can impart.

The fire that ignited this podcast began in 2007, when Laura used to work for Hollywood Video and back when Netflix still sent you DVDs in the mail. It was only when she and Ryan met in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the fall of 2018, was this podcast dream was realised. Ryan knows film, and knows his way around an editing desk. Everything fell into place. We started recording this podcast in our home, with our trusty dog, Bruce, to watch and support us.

 

 WHO IS ON THE BiTTE FOR?

On the BiTTE is for anyone who loves movies and cinema. We don’t spread smut, we just spread our love, knowledge and genuine personal opinions of films in a funny and comedic way.

Yes, we use colorful language. This podcast is for mature individuals who can take some cursing and dark jokes and not for the faint of heart or the easily offended.

RELEASE SCHEDULE

New episodes of On the BiTTE debut every other Friday, and Wee BiTTEs debut as we see fit. Wee BiTTEs are bonus mini episodes that premiere on YouTube, because they are video episodes. We also upload these to podcast platforms for audible enjoyment. We also have two “super secret” new formats we’ll begin to roll out when the time is right!
